Keever releases statement on Labor Day

Here’s the press release from the Patsy Keever campaign. Keever, a Democrat, is running against Republican incumbent Rep. Patrick McHenry to represent the 10th Congressional District.

Signed into law by President Grover Cleveland in 1894, Labor Day is a celebration of the achievements of American workers. It is a special day that pays tribute to the contributions that millions of working men and women have made to the abundance and well-being of our nation.

I hope that you and your families take some time from your work today to be with your families. As you do, I encourage you to take a few moments to remember and honor workers all across America.

Happy Labor Day!
