Kids and family events at Spellbound Children’s Bookshop

Spellbound Children’s Bookshop announces its April programs by way of a press release. All events are held at the bookseller’s location at 50 Merrimon Ave. in Reynolds Village. Info at www.spellboundbookshop.com:

Saturdays 11:00-11:30am Story Time for ages 3 to 7 years. Stories with a common theme and often a related activity. Free.

Friday, April 10th 6:00-7:30pm  Teen Writers Workshop with Megan Shepherd, author of the Madman’s Daughter trilogy.  Pre-registration by April 9th is required. Ages 13-18 only. Cost is $15 per student OR purchase of any one of the author’s hardcover books from Spellbound.

Sunday, April 12th 4:00-5:00pm ROYAL Book Club for adult readers of teen/YA lit meets to discuss Mosquitoland by David Arnold. Ages 18+. Free.

Saturday, April 18th 11:00-11:30am Denton the Dragon Story Time. Local author Jeff Hutchins brings his puppet friend Denton to tell stories from their book Tales from Bubbleland. Free.

Sunday, April 26th 4:00-5:00pm First in Series Book Club for grades 4-6 (approximately). Book to be discussed will be announced on bookstore’s Facebook page and website: www.spellboundbookshop.com. Free.
