Local cyclists bike cross-country for a cause

Press release

From Bike and Build:

Have you heard of Bike & Build? It’s a nationally-recognized nonprofit dedicated to organizing cross-country bicycle trips to benefit affordable housing.

Two of WNC’s very own will be journeying on their bicycles this summer while stopping along the way to work with affordable housing organizations including those in our own local communities.

On March 29, 2014, these riders (Jamie Martina and Michael Prechter) will be in front of Mast General Store in Hendersonville on spin bikes for 12 hours straight (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.) in order to raise money and awareness for their cause and would like to invite the public to join them with their support.
