Altamont Environmental, Inc. is pleased to announce that our firm has been named a PSMJ 2015 Circle of Excellence firm.

PSMJ is the premier management consulting firm for the architecture, engineering, and construction industries. Its Circle of Excellence is designed to highlight firms that are successfully managed and demonstrate outstanding achievements in profitability, overhead management, cash flow, productivity, business development, staff growth, and turnover. Altamont was one of only 66 firms to be recognized on the exclusive list.

“I am honored to be part of such a great team that helped make receiving this award possible,” said Altamont president Stu Ryman. “The award is a result of our staff’s attention to client service, quality work product, and teamwork.”

Based in Asheville since 1996, Altamont’s major areas of practice include assessment and remediation, compliance, solid waste, civil site design, land planning, stormwater planning and permitting, and environmental sampling and field services. Altamont’s staff includes geologists, engineers, environmental scientists, and landscape architects. The company serves clients in both the private and public sectors.

“Year after year, the diversity of these firms continues to prove that success isn’t necessarily defined by the size of a firm, their practice area, geographic location, or even the markets they serve, but instead by a strong commitment to solid business practices,” says Kate Allen, P.E., Director of PSMJ’s A/E/C Industry Surveys. “Top-notch business practices are critical for sustainability, and the firms recognized in the Circle of Excellence set the bar for outstanding business results.”
