MacQueen officially kicks off congressional campaign

Here’s the press release from the campaign of Tate MacQueen:

ASHEVILLE – High school teacher, winning soccer coach, and community leader Tate MacQueen will kick off his campaign for North Carolina’s 10th Congressional District this evening at a gathering with friends, family, and supporters. Local community leaders, elected officials, and candidates for local office will also be in attendance.

Coach MacQueen will discuss his campaign of reconciliation between the parties and emphasize that we are Americans and North Carolinians, regardless of party affiliation. In addition, he will discuss the need for pay equity, a fair minimum wage, clean water and air, and a functioning government beholden to the people.

Please join Tate MacQueen at Ben’s Tune-Up on 195 Hilliard Avenue from 7:00 to 9:00 PM for the official campaign kickoff event. All are welcome to attend.
