Many kids and teens can eat for free all summer

From a press release:

Don’t let kids go hungry this summer. Just because school is out doesn’t mean they can’t get the same free or reduced-cost meals they rely on during the school year. In fact, any kid or teen 18 and under can eat for free at designated summer meals sites across the country. But too many families don’t know, or don’t take advantage of the program.  Lunch is available Monday through Friday from June 14 to August 4 at the following sites, sponsored by Asheville City Schools:

Lee Walker Heights, 50 Wilbar Ave., 1-1:30 p.m.

Hillcrest Apartments, 100 Atkinson St., 11:15-11:45 a.m.

Pisgah View, 1 Granada St., 12-12:30 p.m.
