DUE TO THE FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR FORMER NORTH CAROLINA GOVERNOR JIM HOLSHOUSER WHICH ARE SCHEDULED AT THE SAME TIME AS THE FRIDAY CIBO POWER LUNCH MEETING, GOVERNOR PAT
McCRORY HAS ASKED TO RE-SCHEDULE HIS APPEARANCE AT THE CIBO POWER LUNCH TO ANOTHER DATE THIS SUMMER. HE EXTENDED HIS REGRETS TO THE CIBO MEMBERSHIP FOR HAVING TO CANCEL.

FORMER NC GOVERNOR JIM HOLSHOUSER’S FUNERAL WILL BE HELD THIS FRIDAY, JUNE 21ST AT 1:00 PM IN SOUTHERN PINES, NORTH CAROLINA.JIM HOLSHOUSER, SERVED AS NORTH CAROLINA’S GOVERNOR FROM 1973 TO 1977. HE DIED ON MONDAY, JUNE 17th. HE WAS 78 YEARS OLD.
THE HALLMARK OF GOVERNOR HOLSHOUSER’S TERM WAS HIS WORK TO STRENGTHEN North Carolina PUBLIC SCHOOLS – KINDERGARTEN THROUGH THE UNIVERSITY SYSTEM.
GOVERNOR HOLSHOUSER WAS AN ADMIRABLE PUBLIC SERVANT TO THE CITIZENS OF NORTH CAROLINA.
