McDowell News: Andrews Geyser impacted by storm damage

From McDowell News:

Due to the heavy rain and storms from this summer, Andrews Geyser is not shooting its tall plume of water into the air and may not be operating for another couple of months.

The condition of the geyser was discussed at Monday’s meeting of the Old Fort Board of Aldermen. Mayor Garland Norton gave the board information from the Old Fort Mountain Heritage Alliance about how the town and the alliance are working to get the geyser repaired but it could take time.
