Mission Health names Heidi Jameson VP of Marketing

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (July 18, 2012) – Mission Health today announced the appointment of Ms. Heidi M. Jameson to the position of Vice President of Marketing. An award-winning healthcare professional, Jameson brings over 20 years of marketing and communications experience to Mission Health. She began July 9.

In her new role, Jameson will use marketing strategies to increase market share, unify brand messaging and spread awareness of services offered at Mission Health. Jameson will oversee the strategic planning for the marketing communications department while collaborating with member hospitals on marketing efforts.

“Heidi will be an immense asset to Mission Health,” said Ronald A. Paulus, MD, President and CEO of Mission Health. “Not only does she possess extensive experience in healthcare marketing, her ability to implement precise and measurable strategies enhances our ability to provide high-quality patient care at Mission Health.”

Jameson comes to Mission Health from Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System in Spartanburg, S.C., where she served as Director of Marketing. In this role, Jameson produced significant results through innovative marketing strategies for the non-profit healthcare system’s three hospitals, multiple outpatient facilities and physician network. Jameson also directed several initiatives that impacted healthcare delivery, including social media and web content strategies. Additionally, Jameson collaborated with hospital physicians, leadership and staff to develop comprehensive marketing and public relations plans that helped to reach more patients with high-quality care.
