Moose Café celebrates first anniversary by holding charitable fundraiser

From Moose Café:

Moose Café will partner with the local Hendersonville committee, Project We Care, for an event to celebrate the restaurants one year anniversary in Hendersonville, NC on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015 at 59 Highland Square Drive in Hendersonville, NC.

The Moose Café opened its third location in January 2014 and will now celebrate one year of success in the community. As a part of this celebration, the company will host a fundraising event, donating 50 percent of the day’s sales on Jan. 29, to the Project We Care Committee.

Project We Care is a committee comprised of Henderson county community members who currently serve the elderly in Henderson County. Project We Care’s fundraising efforts go to Hendersonville Meals on Wheels and MemoryCare.

“We are thrilled to celebrate one year in Hendersonville. The community has been very supportive, and we feel blessed to have the opportunity to give back. We proudly partner with Project We Care and believe in their efforts to serve the elderly population in Hendersonville,” said café owner Michelle Walker.

Customers can attend the event at the Moose Café on Jan. 29, from 7 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The café will serve its regular menu filled with made-from-scratch southern favorites. Enjoy a delicious meal while supporting MemoryCare and Meals on Wheels — two agencies that address the needs of our Henderson County seniors by providing delivered meals to shut-ins and evaluation services to those struggling with memory loss.
