NC DOT holding meeting on minority/women-owned business program

Full announcement from the North Carolina Department of Transportation:

The North Carolina Department of Transportation (“DOT”) would like to invite you to a public meeting regarding its Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Programs. This public meeting is part of DOT’s Disparity Study process.

The Study seeks input from firms and community stakeholders regarding experiences with the DOT and its D/M/WBE Programs, as well as barriers to the full and fair inclusion of all firms in DOT opportunities. Your insight and experience will help to identify needed Program improvements and support the DOT’s strategic objectives.

The meeting is open to all businesses, stakeholders and community members. The DOT values your input and insight and we hope you will participate.

The meeting will be held on February 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wake Tech Small Business Center, 3434 Kildaire Farm Road, Suite 200, Cary, NC, 27518.
If you have questions or comments related to the Disparity Study please contact Colette Holt & Associates, the consultant conducting the Study and the public meeting, at (855) 692-3529 or ncdot_study@mwbelaw.com.

We look forward to your participation.
