Jeff Smith, DVM CVA, welcomes new patients to visit his recently opened Vetcetera Animal Hospital at 1829 Hendersonville Road in Asheville near Tupelo Honey south. Vetcetera offers conventional veterinary medicine such as surgery, dentistry, nutritional counseling, preventive health care, in-house lab testing, and dermatology along with the additional options of therapy laser, homeopathy, acupuncture, herbal medicine, and minimal vaccine alternatives. In keeping with the philosophy of minimizing separation of pets from their people, Vetcetera encourages family involvement by allowing pets to recover post-op in human arms and by allowing alternative energy treatments, such as Reiki, to be administered during procedures.
