OM Sanctuary to offer first health enrichment event on April 18

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (April 2012) — OM Sanctuary will host the first of a series of “friendraising” health enrichment events from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18. Dinabandhu (Patton Sarley), former CEO of the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Stockbridge, Mass., will speak on “Yoga and the Brain.” The event is free ($35 donation suggested) and open to the public. Advance reservations can be made online at info@omsanctuary.org or by phone at 828.252.7313. Seating will be limited to 50.

OM Sanctuary is providing the series on health enrichment for those who want to sample the offerings of a holistic education retreat in advance of the Sanctuary’s planned grand opening on May 1, 2013. Series events will take place on the first Saturday of every month from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. and on the third Wednesday of every month from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. For more information visit omsanctuary.org.

Dinabandhu has been a leader in the field of spirituality and human development for 35 years, spending nearly two decades as a dedicated “yoga monastic” living in a spiritual community and focusing on deep spiritual study and practice. He was the CEO of the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, the largest and most successful holistic retreat center in the US. He is the co-author of two books on yoga and speaks on yoga, stress management, communications, and leadership.
