One Center Yoga offers purna yoga weekend, March 13-15

One Center Yoga will host a weekend workshop with Rutu Chaudhari entitled “Create Stability & Freedom; Cultivate Power and Joy,”  March 13-15, 2015. Rutu is a Certified Purna Yoga instructor with over 2,000 hours of direct study with Aadil Palkhivala. Developed by Aadil Palkhivala and his wife, Savitri, Purna Yoga is an integral system of alignment-based asana, nutrition & lifestyle choices, applied philosophy and meditation techniques designed to serve the whole you: body, mind and spirit.

 Friday, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.,Carpal Tunnel Workshop

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome blocks more than just our wrists and hands. Learn to free the channel to your heart with a simple series to alleviate tension on the path from the wrist to the neck, shoulders, and upper back.

 Saturday, Socket-to-Me: hips, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., shoulders, 2 to 5 p.m.

An all-day workshop, to be done in part or in full, delving into the intricacies of the hips and shoulders. Learn how to work these joints correctly in asana to prevent injury for safe, sustainable yoga.

 Sunday, 12 to 3 p.m., Power & Joy

Twisting and backbending can be powerful tools to detoxify the body and bring joy into the heart. Learn how to practice them safely to get the maximum benefit from these invaluable postures.
