Panama Travelogue at Asheville Wild Birds Unlimited on May 20

Here’s the press release:

Panama Travelogue at Asheville Wild Birds Unlimited Store on Sunday May 20

The Asheville Wild Birds Unlimited store is pleased to announce our next upcoming travel and nature program in our travelogue series at 3 PM on Sunday 20 May. WBU Owners, Simon Thompson and Chris Jaquette have visited the rainforests and cloudforests of Panama several times over the past 10 years. From antbirds along world-famous Pipeline Road in the Canal Zone to Resplendent Quetzals in the Chririqui Highlands, we will explore Panama’s rich birdlife. Of course we can’t ignore the equally famous Panama Canal that bisects the Isthmus!  Combine this with friendly people, wonderful wildlife and spectacular scenery and you have the perfect combination for a nature trip. Join Chris and Simon for photos and experiences from this recent trip.

Meet at the WBU Store at 3 PM. There is no charge for this program and refreshments will be served. Check out the store website HYPERLINK “http://www.asheville.wbu” www.asheville.wbu for directions, more information or contact us at WBU at 828.687.9433.
