Pardee Hospital to host volunteer fair on Tuesday, Sept. 27

PRESS RELEASE: Pardee Hospital Auxiliary will host a volunteer fair on Tuesday, Sept. 27 from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Garden Cafe at Pardee Hospital. Volunteer opportunities at Pardee include working in the Garden Cafe or gift shop, greeting visitors, delivering flowers to patients, transporting and escorting patients and visitors throughout the hospital, and assisting in other areas of the hospital as needed. By joining the Pardee Hospital Auxiliary, volunteers can make new friendships, receive recognition for their volunteer hours, attend Pardee’s Annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon and Annual Service Awards Dinner, keep up with Auxiliary activities and news through bi-monthly newsletters, and receive a free flu shot and TB test. All volunteers must pass a background check.

“If you are interested in volunteering at Pardee Hospital, we invite you to come meet our volunteers and learn about the many ways you can make a difference in the lives of others as a Pardee Hospital volunteer,” said Karla Reese, auxiliary services manager at Pardee.
