Pardee Signature Care Center hosts “Medicare Choices Made Easy”

Pardee Signature Care announced that it will host “Medicare Choices Made Easy” classes in July, August and September. This free, informative class is designed for people who are new to Medicare, are caregivers or help senior citizens with their Medicare insurance. Sponsored by the Seniors’ Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) of Henderson County and the Buncombe County Council on Aging, this program explains the sections of Medicare, when to sign up, how to avoid penalties and how to make the most cost-effective choices. The information presented is unbiased as no products are sold or endorsed.

Upcoming “Medicare Choices Made Easy” presentations will be held at the Pardee Signature Care Center, located in the Blue Ridge Mall, on Monday, July 18 from 1 to 3 p.m.; Thursday, Aug. 4 from 2 to 4 p.m.; and Thursday, Sept. 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. To register, please call 828-692-4600 or visit coabc.org.

Pardee Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital founded in 1953 and is managed by UNC Health Care. The hospital is licensed for 222 acute care beds.
