Park-and-ride shuttles offered for Bele Chere this weekend

From the press release from the City of Asheville:

ASHEVILLE – The City of Asheville will provide continuous ART (Asheville Redefines Transit) service and Express Shuttle service for Bele Chere, July 26-29.

To know which route to catch on the ART, users can plan a trip at www.ridetheart.com or by visiting http://maps.google.com on their desktop or mobile phone’s browser. Please note: detours and changes to routes through the downtown area will not be reflected by maps.google.com. Only the routes through downtown will be changed during Bele Chere.

To access the Express Shuttle service and free parking, attendees should park at one of two designated locations and look for the Bele Chere booth selling shuttle tickets. The shuttle will transport people downtown, relieving the hassles associated with finding parking and dealing with traffic. The cost for the shuttle is $2 per round trip.
