Baby Place Events

 

Breastfeeding and Newborn Care

Wednesday, July 30

6 – 8 p.m.

Park Ridge Health, 100 Hospital Drive, Hendersonville

This class reviews newborn care and feeding. Offered as part of the Celebrate Pregnancy Childbirth Series, this option allows those who do not need a childbirth preparation class to attend segment four of the series, focused on breastfeeding and care of your newborn. Topics covered in the course include the following: benefits of breastfeeding, feeding patterns, and proper latch & positioning. This class is included in the Celebrate Pregnancy Childbirth Series, but if taken separately is $25.00 per couple.

 

The Baby Place Experience Tour

Sunday, August 3

4:30 – 5:30 p.m.

Park Ridge Health, 100 Hospital Drive, Hendersonville

We invite you to explore Park Ridge Health’s unit while learning about birth options, registration, services and amenities available. Have your questions answered about delivering at The Baby Place. We encourage all who plan to deliver at Park Ridge Health to attend this free tour.

 

Celebrate Pregnancy Childbirth Class (One full day)

Sunday, August 3, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Park Ridge Health, 100 Hospital Drive, Hendersonville

This class is open to couples that prefer a weekend, one-day option. A light breakfast is featured. For lunch, registrants are encouraged to experience a chef-prepared meal for purchase at Café at Park Ridge Health. Topics covered in the course include the following: dealing with pregnancy discomforts, labor process & labor support techniques, breastfeeding & newborn care, and a tour of The Baby Place. This class is $65.00 per couple. Add a massage voucher ($65 value) to use at The Baby Place Spa for just $30! Please bring three comfy pillows and a baby doll or stuffed animal to class.
