This class series addresses health from a Christian perspective through the following “8 Laws of Health”: Choice, Rest, Environment, Activity, Interpersonal Relationships, Outlook, Nutrition and Trust. Each participant receives a copy of CREATION Health Discovery, a Christian guide to health and harmony.

Nutrition 101
Wednesday, September 12

In this presentation, you will learn the simple habits of people who eat healthy and live healthy and how to slowly incorporate them into your life. Good nutrition doesn’t have to be complicated!

Baby Steps to Parenting
Thursday, September 6
9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The Health Adventure, 800 Brevard Rd., Asheville
Motherhood can be a wild ride, especially during the first year. Join other moms and discuss the joys of motherhood as well as the confusion, anxiety and complexity of adjusting to new responsibilities and changed routines. Through the use of facilitated dialogue and open sharing, we will cover:

• Sleep issues
• Transitioning to solids
• Playful parenting
• Breast feeding issues

This class is for first time parents or parents who are transitioning to multiple children. It is best suited for parents with babies who are 0-12 months old. Your baby is welcome to the class!
This class is $50.00 per couple.

Celebrate Pregnancy (One Full Day)

This is not your typical childbirth class! This class is offered in an interactive format to help you learn and retain all the correct and most important information. Topics covered in the course include the following: Dealing with pregnancy ailments, labor process, labor support techniques, breast-feeding and newborn care. This class is $65.00 per couple. Add a massage voucher ($65 value) to use at The Baby Place Spa for just $30! Bring three pillows and a baby doll or stuffed animal to class.
