Oncology Community Support Group
Friday, June 14
10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Burchard/OB Conference Room at Park Ridge Health
100 Hospital Drive, Hendersonville
Offered by Park Ridge Health Oncology Center and open to anyone in the community undergoing the stress of cancer treatments. Caregivers and family welcome. Facilitated by Suzanne Watkins, R.N., O.C.N., O.N.N., and Darlene White, Park Ridge Health volunteer and cancer survivor. For more information, please contact Debbie Gentry at 681-2917.

The Baby Place Events

Celebrate Pregnancy (One full day)
Monday, June 10
9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
At The Health Adventure
800 Brevard Rd., Asheville
This is not your typical childbirth class! This class is offered in an interactive format to help you learn and retain all the correct and most important information. Topics covered in the course include the following: Dealing with pregnancy ailments, labor process & labor support techniques, breastfeeding and newborn care. This class is $65.00 per couple. Add a massage voucher ($65 value) to use at The Baby Place Spa for just $30! Bring three pillows and a baby doll or stuffed animal to class.

WOW Health Screenings

Blood Glucose and Blood Pressure
Blood test for diabetes and blood pressure. For best results, overnight fasting recommended. FREE.
