Free Support Groups

Henderson County Stroke/Aphasia Support Group
Thursday, June 20

Park Ridge Home Health Office

Support group offered to stroke survivors coping with an aphasia disorder and for other individuals diagnosed with aphasia. Caregivers, family and friends are encouraged to participate, as well. Please call Brenda Oakley at 828-687-5261 for more information.

The Baby Place Events

Celebrate Pregnancy (One full day)
Sunday, June 23

This is not your typical childbirth class! This class is offered in an interactive format to help you learn and retain all the correct and most important information. Topics covered in the course include the following: Dealing with pregnancy ailments, labor process & labor support techniques, breastfeeding and newborn care. This class is $65.00 per couple. Add a massage voucher ($65 value) to use at The Baby Place Spa for just $30! Bring three pillows and a baby doll or stuffed animal to class.
