CREATION Health Series
September 11 – October 2
Wednesdays, 7:30 – 8:30 a.m.
In the Duke Room at Park Ridge Health
The CREATION Health Series is a powerful and insightful four-week class that addresses your health with a philosophy of living life to the fullest potential possible. CREATION is an acronym for: Choice, Rest, Environment, Activity, Trust, Interpersonal Relationships, Outlook and Nutrition. This spiritually based program will encourage healthy change by looking deeper into the meaning of these eight principles for living life to the fullest. CREATION Health is an interactive class that utilizes videos, group discussions and a beautiful CREATION Health Personal Study Guide. Class is led by the Park Ridge Health Wellness Team. American Lung Association’s “Freedom from Smoking”
September 12 – October 24
Thursdays, 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
In the Medical Office Building at Park Ridge Health, Cardiac Rehab, 3rd floor
If you and/or your family member have been thinking about quitting, now is the time. Park Ridge Wellness is offering seven-week smoking cessation series by the American Lung Association, the gold standard in smoking cessation. Freedom from Smoking is a highly structured program focusing on behavior change and the benefits of better health and improved lifestyle habits. The activities provide participants with proven strategies for changing their behaviors and lifestyles. Maintenance strategies to “stay quit” are an integral part of the Freedom from Smoking program. Lunch & Learn: Rheumatology 101

Join board-certified rheumatologist Carlo Mainardi, M.D., M.B.A., F.A.C.P., F.A.C.R., to learn more about diseases treated in the field of rheumatology, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. A Q&A session with Dr. Mainardi will follow his presentation. Come at 11:30 a.m. to enjoy a complimentary lunch from the Café at Park Ridge Health. The Baby Place Events

Celebrate Pregnancy (One full day)

This is not your typical childbirth class! This class is offered in an interactive format to help you learn and retain all the correct and most important information. Topics covered in the course include the following: Dealing with pregnancy ailments; labor process and labor support techniques; breastfeeding and newborn care; and a tour of the Baby Place. This class is $65.00 per couple. Add a massage voucher ($65 value) to use at The Baby Place Spa for just $30! Bring three pillows and a baby doll or stuffed animal to class.
