Park Ridge Health welcomes two providers specialized in infectious disease

Hendersonville, N.C. (August 15, 2012) – Park Ridge Health is pleased to announce that Seema Lagvankar, D.O., and Thomas Lafeber, M.D., physicians board-certified in infectious diseases and internal medicine, are accepting new patients. Both Dr. Lagvankar and Dr. Lafeber will see patients at their office on the campus of Park Ridge Health: 50 Hospital Drive, Suite 2B, in Hendersonville.

Dr. Lagvankar serves as an infectious disease consultant with a focus on outpatient and hospitalized patients consulting on a range of infections including orthopedic infections, HIV disease, cellulitis and pneumonia. She completed her medical degree at Midwestern University, her residency in internal medicine at Resurrection Medical Center/Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago and her fellowship in infectious diseases at Indiana University School of Medicine.

Dr. Lafeber serves as an infectious disease physician with an interest in complex inpatient and outpatient infectious disease consultations, outpatient HIV, and infusion care. He completed his medical degree at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, his residency in internal medicine at Resurrection Medical Center/Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago and his fellowship in infectious diseases at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
