Parkway Playhouse opens “The Complete History of America (abridged)” on Nov. 8

Billed as American history from Washington to Watergate, 90-minute comedy “The Complete History of America (abridged),” “features three actors continuously changing characters, wigs, and costumes as they cheerfully present five hundred years of American history as quickly and hilariously as possible.” It was written by Adam Long, Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor — when presented by Burnesville’s Parkway Playhouse, it will star local actors Mackenzie Pauley, Ryan Robertson and Will Storrs under the direction of Jenny Martin.

The Complete History of America (abridged) runs Friday, Nov. 8 and Saturday, Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 3 p.m. at the Burnsville Town Center (6 S. Main St.). Tickets run $12-$15 and can be purchased by calling 828-682-4285 or at parkwayplayhouse.com. Tickets will also be available at the door. The play conatins mature language and subject matter that may be inappropriate for children.
