Poppy Hand-crafted Popcorn shop opens a second location

Press release from Poppy Hand-crafted Popcorn:

Poppy Hand-crafted Popcorn will be opening it’s second location on Friday, April 15th at the Grove Arcade. They will be serving free samples and offering specials at both locations to celebrate opening day! Located next to Four Corners on the south end of Grove Arcade. Their flagship store is located at 640 Merrimon Avenue – next to Urban Burrito.

After many requests for Poppy to bring their treats to downtown Asheville, the perfect space opened up for them at the Grove Arcade. “We’ll be able to share our delicious popcorn treats with our downtown business folks and residents as well as the many visitors to Asheville each year” says owner, Ginger Frank. “Downtown has always been on our wish list from the day we opened and we were just waiting for the right location to open up for us. We are so excited about this opportunity to be a part of the downtown community.”

Poppy will offer their top 10 flavors at the Grove Arcade location as well as 2 specials each week. Along with bags for snacking while enjoying all that downtown has to offer, Poppy also specializes in corporate gifting, popcorn bars for events, staff meetings and weddings as well as fundraising options, wholesale accounts and much, much more.

“All of our popcorn is made by hand, using non-gmo popcorn and natural ingredients at our shop on Merrimon Avenue” says Frank. “We are truly humbled by the support we’ve received from our community and are looking forward to this next adventure.”

Poppy will be open from 10-6, Monday – Saturday at the Grove Arcade location. The Merrimon Avenue location is open from 11-6:30, Monday – Saturday. Closed Sundays.
