Proceeds from upcoming community yard sale to benefit The Hope Chest

From Bosom Buddies Support Group:

Greater Asheville area/Weaverville—The Bosom Buddies cancer support group, an affiliate of The Hope Chest for Women, is collecting household goods, tools, toys, and other items for a yard sale to benefit the nonprofit’s Medications Made Possible program. Medications Made Possible supplies life-sustaining drugs and supplements to WNC women diagnosed with breast or gynecologic cancer who cannot afford added out-of-pocket costs.

Treasures for Treatment Community Yard Sale will be held Saturday, August 3 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 63 North Main Street in Weaverville. Tables will be set up in the parking lot behind the church.

The community is invited to come out and shop for tools, furniture, household goods, children’s items, shoes, and much more. To donate items for the sale, call The Hope Chest office at 828-418-1344 before July 30.
