Sacred Valley Acupuncture to offer community-style acupuncture for women

From a press release:

Sacred Valley Acupuncture is excited to offer community-style acupuncture to women in the Asheville area beginning May 5. This style of acupuncture varies from traditional practitioner/client appointments in that women will all sit in community together while being treated. Being treated in a communal way allows women to sit in a sanctuary-like setting and allows for women to feel safe and fully relaxed to reap the maximum benefits of their acupuncture treatment. Women can participate in the treatments at Homegrown Babies Health and Education Center, 201 Charlotte Street, Asheville. Sessions last 1 hour and are offered on a drop-in basis between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. the first Thursday of each month. The fee is on a sliding scale of $25-45 per session.
Krystal Kinnunen is a licensed acupuncturist and holds a Master of Arts in Oriental Medicine. She has practiced since 2012 and owned and operated Sacred Valley Acupuncture for the past two years. Krystal’s practice focuses on women’s health and specializes in the childbearing years including infertility, pregnancy, and postpartum care.
Krystal’s mission is to create a better world by offering women, men and children a compassionate and loving healing space supporting them during all their life cycles with the assistance of acupuncture, herbs, yoga, meditation, massage and lifestyle recommendations. With each person, she places a strong emphasis on creating individualized treatment plans while offering a safe sanctuary for each person to relax into. With this integrative approach to medicine, Krystal is always willing to work collaboratively with your primary caregiver, doctors, midwives, and other health care providers.
Sacred Valley Acupuncture’s main office is located at 70 Woodfin Place, Suite West Wing 6C, Asheville but also maintains office hours at Homegrown Babies Health and Education Center, 201 Charlotte Street, Asheville on Mondays and Fridays in addition to the community-style acupuncture on Thursdays.
