Season’s at Highland Lake announces their Spanish Wine Dinner Event, highlighting the robust, earthy flavors of Spain, in both food and wine.  This elegant wine-pairing dinner, including a Chef’s choice amuse bouche, is set for Thursday, June 25 at 6:30 p.m. in a beautiful private dining room at Season’s. Reservations for this exclusive event are required.  The cost is $65 per person.

A first course of White Almond Gazpacho with Yogurt, Cucumbers, White Grapes, Green Onions, Green Tomato Relish, Jerez Vinegar and Almond Dust will be paired with a 2013 Cune Monopole Blanco Viura from Rioja.

The salad course of Paprika-dusted Octopus with Carrot Gastrique, Green Peas, Empeltre Olives, Micro Cilantro and finished with Extra Virgin Olive Oil Espuma. A 2014 Laxas Albarino from Rias Baixas has been chosen to pair.

The main course offering of Paprka-dusted Slow Roasted Leg of Goat with a Spanish Tortilla with Chorizo, Charred Vegetable Salad, Almond Gremolata and Romesco will be accompanied by a 2011 Senda 66 Tepranillo from La Mancha.

For dessert, an Orange and Olive Oil Cake with Amontillado Sabayon, Marcona Almond and Jamon Brittle and Pomegranate Sorbet will be paired with a Lutau East India Solera Sherry from Jerez.
