Season’s at Highland Lake to host South American Wine Dinner

PRESS RELEASE from Season’s at Highland Lake:

Season’s at Highland Lake announces their South American Wine Dinner Event, highlighting the robust, earthy flavors of this dramatic continent, in both food and wine.  This elegant wine-pairing dinner, including Chef Steve Boeger’s surprise amuse bouche, is set for Thursday, November 12 at 6:30 p.m. in a beautiful private dining room at Season’s. Reservations for this exclusive event are required.  The cost is $65 per person.

A first course of Wreckfish Ceviche with Lemon-Lime Brine, Cucumber, Radish, Avocado Mousse, Petit Sprouts and Citron Salt will be paired with a Chilean 2014 Albamar Sauvignon Blanc.

The salad course of Chupe de Manis “Ecuadorian Peanut Soup” with South Carolina Peanuts, Potato, Carolina Reaper Oil and Peas will be paired with an Argentinian 2011 Lamadrid Bonarda has been chosen to pair.

The main course offering of Axis Deer Loin with Turned Peruvian Potatoes, Wilted Greens, Charred Cauliflower, Venison Jus and Chimichurri will be accompanied by a 2012 Calcu Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile.

For dessert, a Tempura Plantain with Spun Sugar and a Late Harvest Sky Top Apple Empanadas with Chili Buttermilk Ice Cream will be paired with a NV Zolo Signature White from Chile.
