Here’s more information on the artist from event organizers:

Katy Moffatt is an internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter from Ft. Worth, Texas, now living in California. With 19 albums, appearances in 4 major motion pictures, and consistent live touring, her career has spanned 40 years, garnering numerous rave reviews, nominations and awards.

In July 2015, Katy’s 1st album was referenced by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of “10 country albums we loved in the 1970’s that you never heard”. This echoes her bio entry in Blackwell’s Guide to Recorded Music identifying her as “an obscure country music vocal genius”.

Meanwhile, Katy is putting the finishing touches on what will be her 16th studio album, ever true to her pie-bald spirit, with the working title of “Where The Heart Is”.

“If ever there was the perfect singer-songwriter it is Katy Moffatt. Her songs are drenched in emotion, her voice perhaps the most searingly beautiful thing you’ll ever hear.” — London Daily Express

“In all her albums and her appearances, Katy Moffatt is indeed a storyteller. Her voice has many shades of meaning as well as memory. She illuminates-in natural light-the characters and the places in her songs…her passion is the abiding force in her music.” — Nat Hentoff, Wall Street Journal
