Sovereign Remedies, Herbiary to host block party fundraiser, Sept. 24

Sovereign Remedies plans to celebrate its second year in business on Saturday, Sept. 24, by hosting a block party with its neighbor, Herbiary. The event will feature a smoked whole hog and vegetable dishes from chef Steve Goff, adult slushies, games, a dunk tank, live music and more. Proceeds from the evening’s activities will benefit Bountiful Cities and the Asheville Community Theatre.

PRESS RELEASE from Sovereign Remedies:

What: Anniversary Block Party and Fundraiser

When: September 24th, 2016, 4pm until 10pm

Where: E Walnut at the corner of N market St. to the corner of Lawyers Walk

Who: Sovereign Remedies and Herbiary to help Support Bountiful Cities and Asheville community theater.

Come party with us!  Chef Steve Goff (Sovereign Remedies and Brinehaus Meat + Provisions) will have a smoked local whole hog and farm fresh vegetables, adult slushies, live music, somewhat celebrity dunk tank, bartender games, product demos and much more!  Proceeds go to support Bountiful Cities and Asheville Community Theater.

Live music by The Roaring Lions, Tina and her Pony, and Phantom Pantone (mixed music and Light show).

Chef Steve Goff  (formerly of King James) will be serving up a whole hog with traditional sides.  There will also be vegetarian options. Adult slushies and classic cocktails from Sovereign Remedies, as well as some seasonal nonalcoholic refreshing remedies.

Herbiary brings you the Anointing Temple with special guest Katie Vie.  Align with an archetype using your sensory wisdom.
