sweetFrog yogurt shop features Christmas choir performance, fundraiser

sweetFrog Enterprises, named by The Daily Meal as America’s Best Frozen Yogurt, has has invited local choirs into locations nationwide to create a Christmas spectacle. On Tuesday, Dec. 16, each participating store will have a choir performing Christmas favorites, including Deck the Halls, at 6 p.m. Asheville’s sweetFrog location is at 1636 Hendersonville Road.

A monetary donation will be made to each choir and members will enjoy free frozen yogurt. Local choir supporters are invited come watch the show, and sweetFrog will donate $1 for every cup of yogurt purchased by a choir supporter.

“We’re excited to bring some Christmas cheer to the communities we serve and help local choirs raise money in the process,” said Matt Smith, chief marketing officer at sweetFrog. “We can’t wait to share the resulting video Christmas greeting we’ll create from the video highlights of this event with our fans across the country. Our local stores are dedicated to helping their communities and we’re proud to support these local churches and schools.”

As a part of the spectacle, sweetFrog will produce a videoChristmas Card to commemorate the event. A montage of choirs performing the holiday favorite ‘Deck The Halls’ will be created with video footage of submitted by local choir supporters and sweetFrog team members. The finished product will be released on sweetFrog social media channels.
