The Orange Peel to host ScaleUp WNC Demo Day, May 26

ScaleUp WNC, one of eight pilot Scale Up America programs in the country funded by the US Small Business Administration, will hold a Demo Day to showcase the 15 companies that participated in the program’s inaugural cohort. The event includes presentations and growth plans, networking opportunities, interactive demonstrations and samples and takes place at the Orange Peel on Tuesday, May 26, from 2-6 p.m.

Featured companies include Brightfield Transportation Solutions, Carolina Native Nursery, Dieseljobs.com, Dolci di Maria, Equinox, Farm to Home Milk, Outrider USA, Hi-Wire Brewing, Lusty Monk, Mother Earth Produce, New Appalachia, SimpleShot Shooting Sports, Strivven Media, The Filling Station Deli And Sub Shop and Ultimate Ice Cream Co.

AdvantageWest is pleased to invite you to the first ever ScaleUp WNC Demo Day on Tuesday May 26 from 2-6pm at The Orange Peel in Asheville.

At Demo Day, you will hear from the entrepreneurs in the first ScaleUp WNC cohort presenting their companies and plans for growth. These 15 WNC companies range from education technology to clean energy to natural foods and hail from Bryson City to Boone. They will have just completed the 12-week intensive ScaleUp WNC program packed with mentorship, curriculum, and peer-to-peer collaboration to hone their plans for scaling up. In addition to the fast-pitch growth plan presentations, you will also have the opportunity to connect with these entrepreneurs for interactive product demos (or in some cases, delicious samples).
