The Accomplices band from Savannah, Ga. plays to WNC shows

Lowcountry stringband The Accomplices, from Savannah, Ga. “plays a unique sort of rock and groove-based blues-grass with overtones of jazz and bohemian country,” according to their press release. “With an emphasis on song craft and heavy harmonies, it’s easy to see why The Accomplices are fast becoming a staple in the southeastern music scene. The band released their debut album ‘Canned Beans’ in the fall of 2011, and spent the next year promoting and playing their original songs in Savannah and the Coastal South. The Accomplices are currently putting the finishing touches on their second album, due for release in the fall of this year, accompanied by a Southeastern tour including stops in Asheville, NC, Jacksonville, FL, Greenville, SC, and on WDVX Knoxville, TN’s ‘Blue Plate Special’ program.”

They will perform at Spring Creek Tavern in Hot Springs on Friday, Sept. 27, 8 p.m.; and at Trailhead Restaurant in Black Mountain on Saturday, Sept. 28, 7 p.m.
