From The Grove Park Inn:
The Grove Park Inn opened its historic doors on July 12, 1913. On Friday, July 12, 2013, we invite
you to join as we celebrate the local culture and heritage that has played such an important role in
the past 100 years of The Grove Park Inn. The day long event will feature vintage music, local artists,
and a 100 year old Inn with a fresh new look. Also part of the celebration will be many of our local
partners such as the Asheville Museum of Art and The Blue Ridge National Heritage area. Closing
out the day will be a champagne toast, time capsule unveiling and a grand fireworks finale.
