The Haywood Baptist Relief Center to close at end of the month

From The Mountaineer:

An organization dedicated to giving out food for those in need will be closing at the end of the month due to a decrease in funding.

The Haywood Baptist Relief Center opened in the immediate aftermath of the floods that ripped through Canton and Clyde in September 2004. The Haywood Baptist Association formed the center as a place to funnel resources as relief groups poured into the area to help those who lost their homes.
