Beer lovers unite! Thirsty Monk’s annual Thirsty Fest is set for September 7-13, 2015 at its Downtown location.

Come thirsty and enjoy a week-long celebration of special finds hardly ever poured in Western North Carolina. Try the scarce, the unique, the exceptional and the downright unusual on tap all week long at Thirsty Monk, Asheville’s leading craft beer bar.

“Thirsty Fest is an event that we plan and reserve our best kegs for throughout the entire year,” says Vice President, Chall Gray. “Our Head Beer Buyer and Events Coordinator, Joanna Postlethwaite, has been working all summer to find us exciting beers, and anyone that enjoyed the tap lists at the Not So Big BIG Beer Festival in May, and Sour Fest in July, knows that this event will be no exception.”

Thirsty Fest will feature specialty beers in both the American Craft Bar upstairs and the Belgian Bar downstairs. Features on tap upstairs will include Bell’s Hopsolution, Founders’ Kentucky Breakfast Stout, the cult-favorite Bomb! from Prairie Artisan Ales, Sierra Nevada Barrel Aged Bigfoot, and many more. Down in the Belgian bar there will be a keg of the Delirium’s 25th Anniversary Argentum, Grand Teton Grand Sour Saison, Sweetwater’s The Pit and The Pendulum, and Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor, among others.

Named as one of the Best Beer Bars in America by Travel + Leisure, a Paste Magazine Top 40 Beer Bar in America, and Best of WNC 2015 Unusual Beer Selection and Local Beer Selection, Thirsty Monk is a leader in Asheville’s beer scene and an increasingly renowned regional and national beer destination.
