Transylvania Community Arts Council calls for 2017 open exhibits submissions

Call for Artists’ – TC Arts Council Holding Open Exhibits in 2017 

The Transylvania Community Arts Council located in Brevard, N.C. has placed an open call for artists in any medium that fit the following themes: “Folk Art” and “The Other Side”.  Open exhibits are for any artist living in the region that fit that particular theme.

The open exhibit “Folk Art” will run from February 10 until 28, 2017.  Artwork and paperwork should be delivered to the TC Arts Council between February 6 and 7. There is a $5 entry fee per art piece to participate in this exhibit. Artists may enter up to 4 pieces depending on gallery space. The public reception for that exhibit will be held on Friday, February 10 from 5 p.m.  to 7 p.m.

The Other Side” art exhibit will run from May 5 until 26, 2017.  Artwork and paperwork should be delivered to the TC Arts Council between May 1 and 2. There is a $5 entry fee per art piece to participate in this exhibit. Artists may enter up to 4 pieces depending on gallery space. The public reception for that exhibit will be held on Friday, May 5 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
