From Park Ridge Health:

Hendersonville, N.C. (August 26, 2013) – Park Ridge Health welcomed U.S. Rep. Mark Meadows Friday during a visit to discuss health care issues in Western North Carolina.

“Health care is an extremely important issue for the people in my district, and my visit to Park Ridge Health allowed me the opportunity to dialogue with hospital staff and physicians to learn more about the specific health care needs in Western North Carolina,” Congressman Meadows said. “I commend Park Ridge Health as a community hospital for its commitment to promoting health and wellness, and I am grateful to the dedicated physicians who care for patients in our region.”

Although Congressman Meadows visited Park Ridge Health last year to tour the hospital facility, this year he met with several Park Ridge Health physicians and officials.

“I was impressed by Congressman Meadows and his understanding of health care issues, as well as his willingness to hear from physicians,” said Dr. Keith Maxwell, orthopedic and spine surgeon with Southeastern Sports Medicine.

“We are grateful to Congressman Meadows for taking the time to visit with Park Ridge Health and for listening to our physicians, who understand personally the changes we are facing in health care,” said Jimm Bunch, President and CEO of Park Ridge Health.
