UNCA invites community input in chancellor search

Press Release

University of North Carolina Asheville

The UNC Asheville chancellor search committee invites the Asheville community and alumni to provide input at a Listening Forum on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Alumni Hall of the Highsmith University Union. This is one of a series of forums on Feb. 27-28 to provide faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members the opportunity to share opinions on the search.

Members of the search committee will be present, as well as representatives of Witt/Kieffer, the consulting firm that has been appointed to assist with the search. Feedback provided at the forums will assist the search committee in developing a clear sense of UNC Asheville’s current needs and goals, as well as the type of leader best suited for the campus.

An online survey also will be available to collect input from those who cannot attend the forum or prefer to provide feedback at another time. Community members attending the Listening Forum on Feb. 27 should enter campus at Founders Drive to park in P22.
