United Federal Credit Union to break ground on Patton Avenue branch, July 27

United Federal Credit Union — which consists of more than 130,000 member/owners worldwide and $1.83 billion in assets, according to a press release from the financial institution — will break ground at its newest location, 1445 Patton Ave., on Monday, July 27 at noon.

UFCU’s North Carolina market vice president Lee Beason and a representative from the Asheville Chamber of Commerce will speak at the ceremony.

The new branch, which will be 6,450 square feet and include a drive-thru, is scheduled to open in early 2016.
