Volunteer with CMLC & REI Asheville on National Trails Day: Saturday, June 29th

Volunteer and get a cool REI T-Shirt!
National Trails Day was rained out earlier this month, but come on out for a second opportunity to get your hands dirty with CMLC, REI Asheville, and Carolina Mountain Club during a fun-filled day in the woods. Be part of advancing the Upper Hickory Nut Gorge Trail by building the new Trombatore Trail segment, a hiking path that will extend the popular and scenic Bearwallow Mountain Trail.

Volunteers will receive a limited edition REI T-Shirt (pictured above). Participants should be in good physical fitness and capable of using hand tools and hiking rugged mountain terrain. Ages 12 and up. Interested volunteers must register via REI Asheville’s website below.
