Vortex Doughnuts has announced it will celebrate its first anniversary on Tuesday, Oct. 27, by giving away 365 of its signature product, The Vortex. The Vortex is yeast-raised doughnut tossed in cinnamon sugar and topped with French Broad Chocolate ganache.
The free doughnuts will be offered to each customer, one per customer on a first-come-first-served basis, until 365 have been given away. Vortex will be open 7 a.m.-4 p.m. the day of the giveaway. Free samples of 1000 Faces Coffee will also be available.
“This is our way of saying thanks to the Asheville community for supporting our little doughnut shop during it’s first year,” says Vortex partner Benjamin Myers in an announcement about the celebration.
