Waynesville Parks and Rec to host First Saturday of Spring Exploration Day March 22

From Waynesville Parks and Recreation Department:

WAYNESVILLE – The Waynesville Parks and Recreation Department will offer a free fun day of outdoor exploration activities on Saturday, March 22, at the Waynesville Recreation Center.

The day will begin at 9:30 am with a birding workshop with Don Hendershot. Learn how to identify birds, begin a bird habitat, and follow birds in our area.

The next event will be a tree climbing with ropes workshop and it will begin at 1 pm. Both events are for people of all ages and is free.
