From the Waynesville Parks and Recreation Department:
The Waynesville Parks and Recreation Department will offer dance classes featuring the Texas 2-Step and the waltz at the Waynesville Recreation Center. The classes will be taught by Herb and Sally Roach.
The cost of six classes in a specific dance is $60 per person. Each class will take place from 7 to 8 pm.
The Texas 2-Step will take place on Mondays on January 13, 20 and 27 and February 3, 10 and 17. This is a level 1 and is totally different from Country and Western Progressive Swing. This is much easier and popular in this part of the country.
The Waltz will take place on Wednesdays on January 15, 22 and 29 and February 5, 12 and 19. This is a intermediate level 2 class.
If you have any questions please call 316-1412 or 356-7060. All new students will need to come 10 minutes early the night of your first class to register.
