LA Based Comedian Duncan Trussell Performs in Downtown Asheville at Funny Business at the Millroom

WEDNESDAY, JULY 30th 2014, ASHEVILLE, NC – On Friday, August 29th at 8:00pm, Warren Wilson college graduate and professional stand-up comedian Duncan Trussell returns to Asheville to perform one show at the Millroom in downtown Asheville.

An alum of Warren Wilson College, stand-up comedian Duncan Trussell, is returning to Asheville for a live, one night engagement at The Millroom.  He currently stars on SyFy Channel’s “Joe Rogan Questions Everything”.  Duncan’s popular podcast, “The Duncan Trussell Family Hour”, is known for its blend of humor, fringe ideas, eclectic guests, and great interviews.  He regularly tours the country as a stand-up comedian and had performed at Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal and the Moontower Comedy Festival in Austin.  In addition, Duncan has appeared on “Curb Your Enthusiasm”, “Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time”, Cartoon Network’s “Adventure Time”, and Funny or Die’s “Drunk History”.

About Funny Business at The Millroom: Funny Business at the Millroom brings live, nationally-recognized comedians for 2 shows on a Friday night each month (mostly the 1st Fridays of each month). There will be 3 comedians each show: a local emcee, a feature act and a national headliner. Shows will run around 1 hour and 45 minutes. The headliners will generally all have Comedy Central or equivalent credits.  Funny Business Agency (www.funny-business.com), one of the largest agencies in the country booking comedy clubs, is partnering with The Millroom (connected to Asheville Brewing) in downtown Asheville, NC at 66 Asheland Ave. Funny Business also booked The Funny Business Comedy Club at the S&W in Asheville several years ago. Our shows are designed to provide a consistent home in Asheville for high-quality professional standup comedy.  The Millroom offers full bar service, food and a selection of Asheville Brewing’s locally-made craft beers. The adjacent Asheville Brewing offers the best pizza and beer in WNC before and after the comedy shows.
