Hi Jon,



When you speak with the organizers, can you remind them that the parks
are public property and they should encourage event participants to stay
out of landscaped areas and off shrubs and trees in public areas and
right of ways. We have had a number of complaints recently about event
organizers and participants damaging public property in the parks by
walking in landscaped areas or breaking limbs and branches off shrubs
and trees - particularly in Pritchard Park.



I am also sure you will remind them that they need to monitor the volume
of any amplified sound they set up in Pritchard Park.



In addition, please ask the event organizer to send me an email with the
information below so I can forward it out to downtown stakeholders who
may be impacted by the event. They can include both dates if they would
like to.

* Date, time and location of the event
* A description of the event and who is sponsoring the event
* Estimate of number of folks who will attend the event
* Map of the event and any street closings that are connected with
the event
* Contact information for before and on the day of the event in
case there are questions or concerns.
