Well – I was glad to go with Heather, she was able to offer referrals to
A-Hope & arrange to have outreach workers go down today. I went down
yesterday to drop off some Spare Change flyers that have emergency
services info. (including A-Hope) and one of the guys said RHA was
sending people down today as well to offer a training in Mental Health
or something to that effect…. Overall, I’m not sure the protesters
fully understand the power dynamics or, ironically, the inequities they
are highlighting by being there.
