CooperRiis offers a unique blend of community work and service in a therapeutic community along with clinical care that supports wellness. All residents contribute to the life of the community through structured work activities, thus learning valuable life skills, while also benefitting from therapy, neurofeedback, yoga, high quality nutrition, and the arts. CooperRiis provides a person-centered, strength-based recovery approach that is supported by science.

The Clinical Director of Asheville will provide direction and oversight of the clinical care offered at the Asheville campus and the surrounding community houses. Working collaboratively with recovery coordinators, recovery coaches, and individual and group therapists, the Clinical Director will provide supervision, support, and direction to the clinical staff. The Clinical Director will also be an integral member of the therapeutic community.

Compensation is based on experience; planned time off accrual begins immediately, insurance available after 90 days. Moving stipend will be made available for the right candidate.

· The Clinical Director will have 5 or more years of experience in working with individuals
in recovery from serious and persistent mental health conditions.
· The Clinical Director will have 2 or more years of progressive supervisory experiences.
· Masters, PsyD or Ph.D. in social work, clinical psychology or counseling.
· Current state license as LPC, LPCS, LCAS, LPA, or LCSW.
· Experience with Dual Recovery and DBT a plus.
